Daniel Sudilovsky, MD, FCAP

Dr. Sudilovsky has over 25 years of experience in Anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists and American Society of Cytopathology.  He completed undergraduate and medical degrees at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at the University of California San Francisco.  He is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology.  Dr. Sudilovsky is Chairman of Pathology and Medical Director of Laboratories at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca and Schuyler Hospital.  Prior to coming to the region in 2005, Dr. Sudilovsky was Assistant Professor of Pathology and Co-Director of Cytopathology at UCSF and Associate Professor of Pathology and Director of Cytopathology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  He also served as a diagnostic and research pathologist in the Breast, Genitourinary, and Melanoma Oncology programs at the UCSF/Mt. Zion (now Diller) Cancer Center as well as the UPMC/Shadyside Cancer Center.  Dr Sudilovsky maintains a special interest in breast pathology, FNA Cytopathology, and performance/quality improvement in anatomic Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Beth Plocharczyk, MD, MPH, FCAP

Dr. Plocharczyk has over 10 years of experience in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists and American Society of Dermatopathology.  She is also an affiliate member of the American Academy of Dermatology.  She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago.  She completed her Masters of Public Health, Medical Degree, residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and a fellowship in Dermatopathology at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.  She is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Clinical Informatics and is board-certified jointly by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology in Dermatopathology.  Dr. Plocharczyk has practiced in the fingerlakes region since 2013 and currently serves as Assistant Medical Director of the Laboratories at Cayuga Medical Center.  Areas of special interest include diagnosis of rashes, alopecia, melanocytic lesions and other skin tumors, population health, test utilization, clinical informatics, and laboratory quality / performance improvement.
